    it's been forever.

wow. it's been a while since i've been on here. believe me I have been here since then. in fact i even started writing a new weblog entry three other times since. but in all cases there was just too much.

Life has been so fast paced I don't even know where all the time is going. We seem to have a revolving door on our house. Which is wonderful..but again makes for busy times.

Our puppy is growing up. He was neutered just this week. ^_^ Still hoping to see the effects of it. He was getting pretty wound up before we did it.

The ocean is as beautiful as ever.

We are not leaving CA this month as we thought we would be doing. Josiah is getting a what's called " medical hold " because his poor shoulder is very messed up. The bones are rubbing together. I put my hand on his shoulder the other day while he was working and I felt the bones grinding on each other. Gave me the shivers. He is in constant pain. Poor guy. So the USMC has a surgery date set for Dec. 10th. After that therapy and who knows what else. We may be here for 3-6 more months.

I have had some interesting developments with my art. Creative Memories sent me two contracts. Unfortunately they ended up not working out but it was simply an eye opener as to what I can actually do! Quite exciting!

Abby gets married in just a little over a month!!! I can't believe my little sister's getting married. i am so happy for her. Her fiance, Michael, just got back from Iraq this week! Much rejoicing! The plan is we'll be driving home for the wedding. And we'll be around for two weeks. So hopefully can see some of you people!

Josiah finished the school he was taking and is now back to his regular Marine Corps job and his bouncing job. He stays way too busy. We treasure all the time we can get.

The thoughts of this election can be rather discouraging. But there are two things I am keeping in my mind and my heart....

Always vote for principle --though you may vote alone-- and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -- John Quincy Adams

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God. Psalm 146:3,5

my last three dr. appointments have been canceled. i am rather miffed at her right now. anyway now i have an appointment for the 28th. We'll see how that goes.

Our church had a Mission Fair. That was a lot of fun. I organized the art exhibit and was one of 4 judges. I also got to learn a lot about all our missionaries that we support and all about the countries too.

Cooking is rather interesting. i still don't have a stove or an oven. I am getting really good at making all kinds of stuff from my electric frying pan and my crock pot! =D I think it's the only thing in our house that isn't quite fixed yet.

I think that gets a few topics covered. i promise to write again soon. I really do miss xanga.

there are have been some other disappointing things that we just need prayer for. we would sure appreciate that. we know God is at work and it is all good and for His glory.

    Fight the good fight.

Love you all, - Htebazile Enna

    Harbor

We're here where the daylight begins
The fog on the streetlight slowly thins
    Water on water's the way
The safety of shoreline fading away

    Sail your sea
    Meet your storm
All I want is to be your harbor
    The light in me
    Will guide you home
All I want is to be your harbor

Fear is the brightest of signs
The shape of the boundary you leave behind
So sing all your questions to sleep
The answers are out there in the drowning deep

You've got a journey to make
    There's your horizon to chase
So go far beyond where we stand
    No matter the distance
    I'm holding your hand

    life.

    'ello you fabulously pulchritudinous people,

    is all well with you?

xanga does seems to be dying sometimes. it's like people don't have time anymore.

WHOA wow, the waves are just so enormous (and loud) this evening. it's SO awesome. I wish y'all could come and visit us out here at least once so you could see what we see everyday. The ocean makes me feels so small and powerless. When I watch those waters pushing and crashing ....i think of Who is behind those waves. All I can do is praise Him for His magnificent glory displayed before me in the Pacific. How powerful our Savior is. What an awesome God we serve.

    so....since last time...

    - josiah got a second job
    - josiah is on a flag football team
    - they had their first scrimmage this week and his team won 35-0. it was pretty cool. and he was SO good.

    Fight the good fight. <><

    Courage, - Htebazile €nna

    You will show me the path of life;
    In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
